Client Care Representative

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Wheelhouse Vets on a part-time basis.

 

Wheelhouse Veterinary Centre has been caring for small animals in the local community for over 60 years. Owned by inspiring vet care and led by our own in-house management team, we are proud to provide exceptional care to pets and outstanding service to their owners.

 

Our team shares a genuine passion for animal welfare and client care. As pet owners ourselves, we understand the importance of treating every patient as if they were our own and creating a welcoming, supportive experience for every client who visits us.

 

How You’ll Make a Difference

 

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

 

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

 

Working Pattern

 

* 20 hours per week over 2-3 days - Shifts to cover opening hours of 8am - 7pm and will include 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:15am - 5pm 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

* Liaise with clients and clinical teams to deliver exceptional customer care

* Meet and greet clients in a professional and welcoming manner

* Book appointments and manage clinician diaries

* Manage telephone and email enquiries

* Take payments for services and products

* Manage cash handling and end-of-day banking processes

* Prepare consultation rooms and maintain presentation standards

* Support the opening and closing of the practice
