Editor, Logistics Middle East

Dubai · On-site

About this role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Editor to lead Logistics Middle East, the region’s leading B2B publication dedicated to the logistics and supply chain sector. Through its monthly magazine, digital platforms and high-profile industry events, the brand delivers in-depth analysis, expert insight and essential market intelligence to decision-makers across the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background, a clear understanding of the logistics and supply chain landscape, and the ability to deliver authoritative content for an audience spanning transportation, warehousing, freight, e-commerce, infrastructure and supply chain innovation.

This is a dynamic opportunity for a journalist with proven editorial leadership skills and the ability to shape content strategy, produce agenda-setting features and analysis, and manage a busy editorial calendar across print, digital, social media and live events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive editorial planning and execution across the monthly magazine, website, newsletters and social channels, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality news, interviews, special reports and analysis across the logistics and supply chain ecosystem.

  • Maintain and strengthen Logistics Middle East’s position as the trusted voice of the industry, building strong relationships with logistics operators, ports, freezones, freight forwarders, supply chain leaders, technology providers and government stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date with key developments across transport and mobility, ports and maritime, rail, warehousing, last-mile delivery, cold chain, digital transformation, sustainability and infrastructure projects across the GCC.

  • Oversee content output across print and digital platforms, ensuring consistency in tone, authority and accuracy while delivering proactive and industry-leading journalism.

  • Lead major annual initiatives including power lists, special reports and sector deep-dives aligned to the brand’s content plan and event calendar.

  • Play a central role in the brand’s events portfolio, including the Logistics Middle East Awards, Logistics Saudi Awards and Logistics Leaders forums. Moderate panel discussions, conduct on-stage interviews and deliver comprehensive pre- and post-event coverage.

  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team on sponsored features, content partnerships and special projects, ensuring all branded content aligns with editorial standards and delivers value to the audience.

  • Work alongside editors across the wider B2B portfolio to identify cross-sector themes and collaborative initiatives that strengthen the overall Business Group.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of editorial experience, ideally within B2B or business publishing, with a strong portfolio of published work.

  • Strong interest in logistics, supply chain, transport or infrastructure. Understanding of the GCC market, particularly the UAE and Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.

  • Comfortable working across CMS platforms, social media channels and newsletter systems, with a solid understanding of digital publishing best practice.

  • Ability to lead a major regional brand, manage workflows effectively and contribute to long-term editorial strategy.

  • Excellent writing, editing and interviewing skills, with the confidence to represent the brand publicly and moderate high-level industry events.

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities across print, digital and live platforms in a fast-paced media environment.

  • Commercially aware and comfortable working collaboratively with sales and events teams while maintaining editorial integrity.

  • Willingness to travel across the GCC and attend major industry events.
