About this role
itD is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries, supporting seamless employee payments and strong partnership with HR and Finance. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in multi-country payroll, payroll compliance, financial reporting, and data analysis, with a track record of delivering accurate payroll processing, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Location: Krakow, Lesser, Poland - Hybrid preferred; remote candidates will also be considered.
Duration: 9 months with possible extension

Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processes across multiple EMEA countries, including in-house payroll processing and coordination with local payroll vendors.
- Review and control payroll-related payments to employees, tax authorities, and social security offices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare monthly wage-tax returns and support payroll compliance requirements across applicable countries.
- Process payroll-related journal entries accurately into the general ledger.
- Partner with HR and Finance as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Analyze the financial impact of changes to social security, benefits, and wage-tax legislation to support planning and decision-making.
- Validate and report payroll data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely delivery to stakeholders.
Internal Responsibilities:
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of payroll experience supporting multiple countries, preferably across EMEA, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including accurate data manipulation and creation of meaningful reports.
- Experience transforming raw data into meaningful reports for different audiences.
- Hands-on experience with data entry and data validation, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt effectively to changing priorities.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with ADP GlobalView or SAP payroll.
- Experience working in a multinational remuneration or payroll environment.
- Payroll qualifications recognized in a relevant EMEA country.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting challenging deadlines under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management and partnering skills.
- Demonstrated ownership, proactivity, and self-motivation.
- Experience assessing the payroll impact of changes to social security, benefits, and wage-tax legislation.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
