As a behavioral health and educational organization serving children, youth, and families, Italian Home is committed to responsibly leveraging technology to support staff, improve operations, and strengthen service delivery.
This role will serve as a catalyst for organizational transformation, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, eliminate redundant software, improve productivity, and maximize the value of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. In addition, the AI & Business Systems Manager will play a key role in helping establish an AI learning and innovation institute that develops training programs, best practices, and implementation frameworks to assist other nonprofit and healthcare organizations in effectively adopting AI technologies.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical and project management skills who is comfortable navigating uncertainty and translating broad strategic objectives into clear priorities, actionable workplans, and successful outcomes.

QualificationsEssential Functions
Lead the development and execution of the organization’s AI, automation, and digital transformation strategy.
Identify opportunities to reduce administrative effort, improve workflows, and increase organizational productivity through AI and technology solutions.
Evaluate and rationalize software applications to reduce technology costs and eliminate redundant systems.
Maximize the organization’s investment in Microsoft 365, including Copilot, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, OneDrive, and related technologies.
Design and implement scalable business systems, workflows, and solution architectures that support clinical, educational, administrative, and fundraising operations.
Apply Agile project management methodologies to deliver technology initiatives with clear milestones, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
Partner with leadership, program, clinical, development, finance, and operations teams to identify and prioritize business needs.
Develop AI-enabled approaches to support grant research, proposal development, outcome reporting, knowledge management, and fundraising effectiveness.
Ensure AI and technology initiatives align with privacy, security, compliance, and ethical standards applicable to healthcare and nonprofit organizations.
Design and deliver staff training programs to increase AI literacy, technology adoption, and digital skills across the organization.
Help establish and grow an AI learning and innovation institute that provides training, implementation guidance, and best practices for nonprofit behavioral health, educational, and human serviced organizations seeking to adopt AI and automation technologies.
Qualifications (required)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business systems, digital transformation, technology consulting, solution architecture, or related roles.
Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, business process automation, and AI technologies.
Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.
Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Comfort working independently and successfully navigating ambiguity.
Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and change management capabilities.
Maintain strictest confidentiality regarding clients and employees; adhere to all HIPPA regulations.
Qualifications (preferred)
Knowledge of system architecture, integrations, data management, and technology governance.
Experience developing training programs, facilitating workshops, or leading organizational change initiatives.

The expected base annual salary for this role is between $110,000-120,000 USD, dependent on experience. This number does not reflect additional compensation-related benefits such as PTO, medical, dental, and life insurance, EAP and the Italian Home for Children 403(b) retirement plan.
