Responsibilities
Altour has an exciting opportunity to work with a top client! The Hotel Reservations & Payment Coordinator will deliver exceptional travel service and consultation to ALTOUR clients by booking, coordinating and managing hotel reservations, including reconfirmation of prepayment arrangements for both domestic and international travel. The ideal candidate will have have travel experience and will maintain accurate reservation documentation while ensuring compliance with client and corporate travel policies. this is a Part Time role with flexible hours 10 AM - 2 PM or 11 AM - 3 PM ET.
- Reconfirm receipt of payment with all prepaid hotel partners for domestic and international reservations.
- Process, resend, and/or obtain hotel authorization forms as required to support traveler accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all reservation activity in company systems.
- Prepare and submit daily reconfirmation reports, identifying and escalating issues requiring additional support or resolution.
- Assist clients with obtaining hotel folios and supporting documentation as requested.
- Partner with internal teams and hotel suppliers to resolve payment, billing, and reservation discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with client travel requirements, company standards, and service-level expectations.
- Assist with hotel reservations when needed; complete all reservations in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring all corporate travel policies are followed.
Performance Expectations
- Quality: Deliver accurate, detail-oriented service while minimizing customer service issues and reservation errors.
- Productivity: Meet daily reporting, reconfirmation, and documentation goals within established timelines.
- Customer Experience: Provide proactive, responsive support and minimize client escalations related to hotel payment or reservation concerns.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of corporate travel consulting and sales experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably within the travel industry.
- Experience coordinating and managing international travel reservations and related documentation.
- Typing proficiency of at least 50 words per minute (WPM).
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional, proactive, and customer-focused service.
- Strong knowledge of travel industry practices, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Sabre GDS required.
