About the IB

The International Baccalaureate provides world-class educational services to over 6,000 schools across 160 countries. A career with the IB is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to work with an innovative world leader in education services where we empower our employees to thrive and make a difference.

About the job

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) has set a strategic goal to enrich the education of five million young people each year by 2032, in ways that enable human and planetary flourishing. Achieving this ambition depends on strong, trusted relationships with IB World Schools and partners, supported by clear, consistent and engaging communications.

As part of the Office of Communities, Partnership & Development, the Department of Marketing & Communications plays a key role in supporting the IB’s global reach, reputation and impact. It does this by delivering strategic storytelling and stakeholder communications that build understanding, engagement and confidence in the IB’s programmes and services.

This Communications Strategist Associate Manager will provide strategic communications leadership for the Digital Assessment Initiative. Working closely with the Global Stakeholder Communications Manager, the central IB Communications team, programme leadership and change leads, the Communication Strategist is responsible for shaping the communications approach, narrative and priorities that support understanding, trust and readiness across global audiences. The role ensures complex change is communicated clearly and consistently, helping the IB, its staff and IB World Schools prepare for and adopt digital assessment successfully.
