Job Description and Responsibilities

IBKR is seeking exceptional individuals to join its fast-growing APAC Institutional Services group.  In this role, you will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to IBKR’s advisor clients including wealth/asset managers, hedge funds, and family offices.  Our mission is to build deep, long-term relationships and provide a seamless client experience as we continuously expand our global product and service offerings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical, account, and trade-related enquiries via email, telephone, and web ticket
  • Take ownership of and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders across functional groups and regions
  • Assist clients with the entire investment lifecycle including but not limited to cash and position transfers, corporate actions, margin calculation, and statement reconciliation
  • Ad hoc projects and assignments – e.g. client outreach, platform training, market research 

Qualifications

Core competencies:

  • Exceptional relationship management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (Mandarin is a strong plus)
  • Ability to think critically and reason about complex systems and processes
  • Familiar with a variety of asset classes – e.g. Stocks/ETFs, Options, Bonds, FX, Funds, Futures, Crypto

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • At least 1-2 years prior experience at a wealth/asset management firm, family office, or other financial institution (new graduates who demonstrate a strong grasp of the core competencies will also be considered)
  • Holder of SFC licenses for RA Type 1, 2, and 3, or ability to obtain within 90 days of joining
