Job Summary
The Tenant Services Technician is a contributing team member in providing high-quality, cost-effective installation solutions that increase customer satisfaction, as well as create repeat business and overall profitability. The Technician provides timely response to clients’ requests for day-to-day coordination of small to mid-size furniture moves, space reconfigurations and repair/maintenance of client’s furniture and building amenities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Including but not limited to:
- Same day response for light general handyman tasks
- Transport Lab equipment and furniture from campus to and from warehouse
- Support and deploy lab shipments in partnership with other teams
- Lab space, conference room, and other common area audits
- Implement daily work requests/tickets
- Adhere to client security protocol requirements.
- Act as an escort as needed
- Lifting and/or moving heavy equipment and/or furniture on a regular basis.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take on initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Proven ability to improve customer experience and build brand loyalty.
- Adept in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent and effective at oral and written communication.
- Ability to see the big picture and integrate into day-to-day tasks and activities.
- Fluid interpersonal and collaborative skills to interact effectively with a wide range of personnel and departments.
- Strong organizational, administrative skills.
- Demonstrate commitment to professionalism, integrity and sound judgement in business transactions to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Must have strong work ethics.
- Experience in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Comfortable driving 16’ and 24’ vehicles.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and equipment handling
- Commercial moving experience a plus
The anticipated salary range for this role is $22.00 - 28.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
