INSEAD is seeking a Senior Manager, Media Relations to join our Communications team. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. A hybrid working model is in place – 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

Reporting to the Director, Media Relations and Social Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how INSEAD’s voice is heard across Europe, UK and the US. You will partner with faculty, senior leaders and top-tier media to bring powerful stories to life — stories that showcase INSEAD’s thought leadership, research and global impact.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment where no two days are the same — navigating complex priorities, spotting opportunities in the news cycle, and positioning INSEAD at the forefront of global conversations.
Your role within the team
- Shape and execute regional media outreach strategies across Europe, UK and the US, aligned with global communications priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor to faculty and senior stakeholders, translating ideas into compelling media narratives
- Build and nurture strong relationships with leading journalists and media outlets, positioning INSEAD as a go-to voice
- Craft impactful editorial content including press releases, media pitches, and key messaging
- Drive visibility of institutional events and research through strategic and proactive media planning
- Identify emerging news trends and proactively insert INSEAD perspectives into public discourse
- Collaborate across campuses and functions to deliver cohesive and high-impact communications
The ideal candidate profile
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field
- 10–15 years of experience in communications, PR, media or journalism
- Proven experience working in a global, multicultural environment
- Strong experience advising senior stakeholders and navigating complex organisations
- Exceptional writing, storytelling and editing skills in English and French
- Strong understanding of media landscapes, digital platforms and editorial judgement
- Highly proactive, resilient and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Thrive in a global, fast-paced environment, working closely with colleagues across cultures and time zones to build strong relationships and deliver shared outcomes
- Curious, adaptable and continuously learning, embracing change and seeking new ways to elevate INSEAD’s voice and impact
The communications department at INSEAD is responsible for managing the institution's image and reputation by developing internal and external communication strategies. It ensures the effective transmission of the school's values, achievements, and initiatives to its stakeholders.
