Your future role.
- Develop and execute a strategic account management approach for the synchronous generator business within your designated region, including account planning and account development to drive sustainable business growth
- Drive revenue growth and order intake by expanding business within existing customer accounts
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing customers and key stakeholders
- Identify customer needs, installed base opportunities, replacement cycles, service needs, and expansion potential within assigned accounts
- Act as the main point of contact for existing customers, ensuring continuity, responsiveness, and high customer satisfaction
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts with a strong focus on retention, share of wallet, and long-term value creation
- Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on commercial quotations, tenders, and offers for existing accounts
- Own and manage sales KPIs, including account growth, pipeline health, conversion rates, revenue targets, and order intake
- Analyze account performance, market trends, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities within the existing customer base
- Support contract negotiations and lead customer discussions with confidence and commercial clarity
- Partner closely with internal departments such as engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to align customer needs with internal capabilities
- Contribute to forecasting, business planning, and regional account growth
Your profile.
- University degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in sales, key account management, or account management within industrial, marine, energy, or similar B2B sectors
- Strong track record of growing existing accounts and increasing revenue from current customers
- Experience in managing strategic accounts, developing account plans, and converting customer needs into orders
- Advanced negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive results in a self-sufficient manner
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of KPIs and sales metrics
- Experience with synchronous generators, rotating machines, power generation, or related technical products is an advantage
- Comfortable working in an international environment and engaging with stakeholders across all levels of an organization
- Willingness to travel for around xx% of the time, including international travel
- Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage
