Technical Service Product Expert (m/f/d)
About this role
The Technical Service Product Expert (m/f/d) is responsible for service operation execution for containerized solutions and cross-platforms programs with a strong focus on New Product Introductions (=NPI). This expert acts as single point of contact between the NPI team and the service organisation ensuring service readiness, lifecycle management and communication flow.

Your Responsibilities:
- Drive and ensure service readiness for the relevant product/platfroms during the NPI process across the lifecycle with a strong focus on all technical aspects (serviceability, tooling, trainings, maintenance methods/plans, spare parts forecasting and service strategy)
- Own all service deliverables and act as service approver for NPI projects
- Act as global service representative in NPI projects and work closely together with relevant functions such as product line management, engineering, operations to meet the necessary service requirements.
- Drive swift and seamless information and knowlege sharing to global service teams to ensure operational excellence
- Develop the Entry into Service (=EIS) strategy for new platform derivatives including maintenance plans, manuals, documentaion and required trainings
- Participate in technical, tollgate and business reviews and present KPIs to senior management team
- Pro-actively participate in the regular planning cylcle for new products to ensure service requirments are captured and executed
- Monitor the KPI Dashboard
Your Profile:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering
- Strong experience in operations and/or services and/or project management
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Proven project management and organizational skills
- Very good communication skills and ability to communicate to the management
- Detailed technical understanding of reciprocating engine operation and maintenance requirements
- Excellent communication, facilitation & influencing skills
- Excellent English skills; German is a strong advantage
