As an OEM of natural gas engines, Waukesha relies on its network of channel partners for the sales of new equipment, OEM remanufactured equipment and parts (reUp), model conversions and upgrade kits and maintenance parts. Waukesha’s channel partners package, overhaul, repair, commission, and service Waukesha equipment globally.

About the Role:
Revolution Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our growing team in Waller, Texas. This role is key to our mission of delivering high-performance power systems for critical energy and industrial applications. You’ll be hands-on assembling advanced power generation equipment, ensuring every unit meets rigorous quality and safety standards.
Role Summary
Design and development of electrical systems for our power generation and oilfield equipment. This role will focus on electrical component and system design, including one-line diagrams, load lists, BOM creation, testing procedures, and system troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to deliver cost-effective, reliable, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design: Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, and bill of materials (BOMs) for packaged equipment, skids and control cabinets
- Controls & Programming: Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Component Sizing: Size and specify electrical components, motors, sensors, transformers, and safety relays based on load requirements and NEC/IEC standards
- Testing & Validation: Conduct point-to-point checks, functional testing, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) before customer delivery
- Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with mechanical and packaging design teams to ensure proper thermal management, enclosure integrity, and wire routing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial automation, machinery manufacturing, or modular equipment packaging.
- Industrial control panel standards (UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC). Strong troubleshooting ability, hands-on wiring aptitude, and clear technical. AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.
