Firmware Integration and Test Engineer
About this role
As an Optical Firmware Integration Test (SIT) Engineer at Nokia, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our optical pluggable firmware development and verification process. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, focusing on designing and automating test cases using Python on our PACE test platform. Your work will directly contribute to improving firmware quality by executing tests, analyzing results, and partnering with developers to diagnose and resolve issues. The Ottawa Firmware SIT lab offers a collaborative and innovative environment where you'll engage with cutting-edge technology, including optical switches and network nodes. You'll also have the opportunity to perform manual tests, further deepening your practical knowledge. With regular in-office collaboration three days a week, you'll thrive in a supportive atmosphere that values communication, analytical thinking, and technical expertise.
