Join us in shaping the digital transformation of manufacturing. As Software Engineer (f/m/div) for Workflow Automation, you will orchestrate and automate digital business processes and ensure efficient operations in production. From the very beginning, you will work closely with other developers, architects, and business departments to deliver the best and most effective solution.


Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Requirements analysis in close collaboration with business and IT departments, as well as contributing to the specification of technical solutions

  • Development and testing of software solutions in Camunda

  • Ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems

  • Conducting code reviews of existing solutions and deriving measures for continuous improvement

  • Close collaboration with project teams to perform technical evaluations and effort estimations for requirements

  • Operation of systems, including monitoring, 2nd- and 3rd-level support, and root cause analysis of incidents and defects


Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, a STEM-related field or a comparable qualification

    Several years of experience in software engineering and process automation, with strong system thinking skills

  • Experience with interface technologies, data formats and process integration (e.g., APIs/REST)

  • Experience in process modeling using BPMN and knowledge of Camunda 8

  • Strong proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies - Kubernetes and Elastic is an advantage

  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
