The Soldering Process Engineer is responsible for sustaining and continuously improving soldering processes within semiconductor assembly operations.


Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize soldering process control plans
  • Monitor key process parameters and control items to ensure stable production performance
  • Analyze SPC and manufacturing data to identify trends, abnormalities, and improvement opportunities
  • Investigate and resolve Daily Defect Management (DDM) issues
  • Understand shop-floor operations and soldering-related failure modes
  • Perform systematic root cause analysis and verification
  • Utilize statistical techniques to identify root causes and implement solutions

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed 

  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Minimum 3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • Hands-on experience in assembly process engineering, especially soldering, die attach, wire bonding molding, or package assembly processes
  • Strong understanding of soldering process principles and manufacturing controls
  • Ability to interpret process and quality data using statistical methods
  • Good command of English in both verbal and written communication
