Description

We are looking for a Junior IT Administrator to serve as the first point of contact (Tier 1) for local operations in Mexico. This role will be responsible for handling the daily operational workload, support tickets, and physical hardware management, ensuring an excellent level of internal service and appropriately escalating complex incidents to the regional references on the team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Helpdesk Management (Tier 1): Resolve daily technical support tickets for local users (software configuration, access issues, email troubleshooting, etc.).
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Configure and deploy computer equipment for new hires, as well as recover and format hardware for departing employees.
  • Local Inventory Management: Control and maintain physical IT inventory in Mexico (laptops, monitors, peripherals) and provide support for meeting rooms.
  • Structured Escalation: Filter and diagnose complex problems to escalate them properly to the Senior IT Administrators on the team (Tier 2/LATAM).



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 1 to 2 years of previous experience in Technical Support, Helpdesk, or similar IT roles.
  • Practical knowledge in administering corporate platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
  • Basic experience in hardware maintenance and configuration (Windows / macOS).
  • Intermediate-Advance conversacional level of English.
  • Service-oriented and proactive attitude: Willingness to learn quickly and resolve basic operational blockers independently.
  • Clear communication: Ability to document processes within tickets and communicate status updates without falling into unnecessary over-reporting.
  • Teamwork: Ability to follow operational guidelines and rely on team mentors (technical references) for professional development.
