Description
Key Responsibilities
- Helpdesk Management (Tier 1): Resolve daily technical support tickets for local users (software configuration, access issues, email troubleshooting, etc.).
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Configure and deploy computer equipment for new hires, as well as recover and format hardware for departing employees.
- Local Inventory Management: Control and maintain physical IT inventory in Mexico (laptops, monitors, peripherals) and provide support for meeting rooms.
- Structured Escalation: Filter and diagnose complex problems to escalate them properly to the Senior IT Administrators on the team (Tier 2/LATAM).
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1 to 2 years of previous experience in Technical Support, Helpdesk, or similar IT roles.
- Practical knowledge in administering corporate platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
- Basic experience in hardware maintenance and configuration (Windows / macOS).
- Intermediate-Advance conversacional level of English.
- Service-oriented and proactive attitude: Willingness to learn quickly and resolve basic operational blockers independently.
- Clear communication: Ability to document processes within tickets and communicate status updates without falling into unnecessary over-reporting.
- Teamwork: Ability to follow operational guidelines and rely on team mentors (technical references) for professional development.
