Key Responsibilities
Communications leadership & Foundation voice
- Own and protect the Foundation's public narrative - ensuring all external communications reflect the mission, values, and independence of inVision Foundation
- Develop culturally nuanced and inclusive messaging frameworks for complex social issues (e.g., educational equity, digital literacy, civic participation), translate complex policy and foundation initiatives into relatable social narratives, tailored specifically for local opinion leaders, community champions, and grassroots influencers.
- Build and leverage strategic coalitions with local advocacy groups and specialized social sector partners to amplify non-profit storytelling and build long-term public trust.
- Own all PR materials produced at Foundation level, including press releases, official statements, and positioning documents
- Lead internal communications across the Foundation, keeping teams aligned, informed, and connected to the broader mission
- Proactive risk & crisis monitoring with ability to identify early warning signals, emerging social debates, and potential reputational risks through continuous media and social listening
- Coordinate communications across global inVision projects - inVision U, Alternativa, Aurora, CVI, Non-violence, and domain campaigns - providing unified messaging guidelines and editorial support
- Support project leads with Foundation-level positioning, media preparation, and interview guidance
- Ensure project-level PR leads operate with a consistent narrative framework while retaining the autonomy their individual projects require
- Lead the full cycle of domain campaign creation, planning, and execution across Education, Media, Technology, and Governance
- Proficiency in media landscape mapping & trend analysis: Strong capability to monitor and analyze local, regional, and sector-specific media environments across countries. Hands-on experience with media intelligence tools
- Coordinate regional agency work focused on social topics, managing relationships with niche and specialist media to ensure the Foundation's work reaches the right audiences
- Data-driven evaluation frameworks. Proven track record in measuring PR and communications success beyond vanity metrics, utilizing modern frameworks (e.g., AMEC Integrated Evaluation Framework) to assess output, outcome, and social impact.
- Build and systematise the Foundation's partnership office - developing a structured approach to partner acquisition, relationship management, and stewardship across all inVision projects
- Establish and develop partnership opportunities for Alternativa, Aurora, inVision U, and other Foundation initiatives
- Coordinate CRM to track partner history, measure key engagement metrics, and enable data-driven decisions on acquisition, retention, and stewardship
- Build and steward relationships with influencers whose values and audiences align with the Foundation's mission
- Manage the Foundation's relationship with inDrive, who is supporting partners and driving value for them - coordinating joint activations, ensuring they are time-bound, clearly labelled, and protect the Foundation's independence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in communications, with a focus on non-profit, social impact, or purpose-driven organisations
- Proven experience managing partnerships and stakeholder relationships in the social or NGO sector
- Strong network within specialist and niche media relevant to education, governance, media literacy, or community development
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and editorial skills - with the ability to maintain a distinctive institutional voice across diverse topics
- Experience coordinating decentralised teams or networks of contributors
- Fluent in business English; additional languages relevant to Foundation markets are a plus
- Deeply committed to social mission
- Highly autonomous - able to manage a broad scope with limited team support
- Skilled at building trust with institutional partners, NGOs, and government stakeholders
- Comfortable operating at the boundary between a social organisation and a corporate partner
- Creative, organised, and calm under pressure
