Description

We are looking for an Event & Internal Communications Specialist to join inVision, our internal non-profit initiative. In this role, you will coordinate employee engagement, communication, and event management for a globally distributed, diverse team of approximately 150 members.

This is an individual contributor role requiring hands-on operational execution, clear communication, and strong event management skills. You will design and execute internal team-building, strategic summits, and public external events, while keeping our global team connected and aligned. If you have a background in communications and professional event management, we would love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Event & Summit Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events from concept to completion: internal team-building, high-level strategic summits, online gatherings, and major external public events.
  • Own the entire event cycle: from conceptual design, budgeting, and location sourcing to managing external contractors, production agencies, and collecting attendee feedback.
  • Coordinate logistical, technical, and hospitality aspects for both internal team members and external event guests.
Internal Communications
  • Structure and maintain the department’s information space across core channels (such as Slack, newsletters, and internal resource portals).
  • Translate organizational updates, initiatives, and impact milestones into clear, engaging, and simple content for a global team.
  • Coordinate and align internal messaging around employee updates, including onboarding and offboarding announcements.
  • Help prepare speaking points, compile slide deck summaries, and organize structured presentations for internal All-Hands meetings and public events.
Vendor Management
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage external suppliers, creative production agencies, and catering partners.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 2–3+ years of experience in Event Management (running both internal corporate events and external/public events/summits), Internal Communications, or HR-brand roles.
  • Practical experience in vetting, negotiating with, and managing external contractors and creative agencies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher for daily written and verbal communication in a global environment.
  • Empathetic, energetic, and proactive candidate who naturally connects with people and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-cultural setting.
