Job Description – Senior Test Engineer (STE)

Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced Senior Test Engineers with strong expertise in Banking applications and end-to-end software testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing Loan Applications and Loan Origination Systems (LOS), along with a strong understanding of lending workflows, functional testing, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business and functional requirements to understand application behavior.

  • Prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

  • Execute Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing.

  • Validate business workflows across Loan Applications and Loan Origination Systems (LOS).

  • Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.

  • Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and review meetings.

  • Perform impact analysis for application enhancements and production fixes.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to resolve issues.

  • Ensure complete test coverage and maintain requirement traceability.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production validation, and release activities.

  • Prepare daily and weekly testing status reports.
