Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer 

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in functional, API, database, and automation testing, along with hands-on experience in modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO. The candidate should be capable of working independently, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts.
  

• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions to ensure product quality and testability.
  

• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
  

• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable test suites.
  

• Execute API testing and automation using Rest Assured or similar tools.
  

• Perform database validation and SQL testing to ensure data integrity.
  

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through closure.
  

• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality.
  

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  

• Ensure test coverage, traceability, quality metrics, and release readiness.
  

• Support production validation and post-release verification activities.
  

• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Engineering practice.
  

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  

• Strong experience in Functional Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing.
  

• Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  

• Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
  

• Strong expertise in API Automation using Rest Assured or similar tools.
  

• Strong SQL and Database Testing experience.
  

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  

• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  

• Strong stakeholder management and customer interaction experience.
  

• Ability to work independently and drive testing activities with minimal supervision.
  

• Experience mentoring or leading QA team members.
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in the Healthcare domain.
  

• Exposure to Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  

• Experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.
  

• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and automation accelerators.
