About this role

          Duties & Responsibilities:

·   Manage day-to-day communication and correspondence with buyers, providing regular updates on order status, sampling, production, and delivery schedules.

·        Review buyer order sheets thoroughly upon receipt and coordinate with buyers to clarify and resolve any discrepancies or missing information.

·       Coordinate the complete sampling and product development process, ensuring samples are developed as per buyer requirements and dispatched within the agreed timelines.

·       Inspect and verify samples for measurements, specifications, workmanship, fabric, trims, and other buyer requirements before submission/dispatch.

·       Handle and resolve buyer queries and concerns related to new developments, ensuring timely communication and follow-up with the concerned teams.

·       Prepare, update, and monitor TNA calendars to ensure all activities are completed within the planned timelines.

·       Prepare and update product costing in line with buyer requirements and approved specifications.

·       Coordinate with fabric and trims teams/vendors for timely ordering and procurement of materials required for production.

·       Ensure fabric, trims, and accessories are booked and available as per order requirements and production schedules.

·       Prepare and issue complete production files to the factory within the stipulated timeline, ensuring all necessary information and approvals are included.

·       Attend pre-production meetings and provide necessary clarifications and approvals related to fabrics, trims, accessories, construction, measurements, and buyer specifications.

·       Coordinate closely with factory teams on production planning and follow up on production progress to ensure orders are completed and delivered within the committed timelines.

·       Coordinate with the EXIM department and provide all required shipment/order-related documents within the specified timelines.

·       Monitor order execution closely and proactively identify potential delays or issues, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.

·       Guide, supervise, and train junior merchandising staff to ensure effective execution of their responsibilities.

·       Maintain effective coordination between buyers, design, sourcing, production, quality, factory, and other internal teams to ensure smooth order execution from development through shipment.
