Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Support product discovery for an assigned product area by gathering requirements, documenting user workflows, and identifying edge cases under the guidance of a senior PM.
- Write clear, structured PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering can build against without ambiguity.
- Create workflow diagrams, screen flows, and clickable prototypes using Figma, Cursor, or similar tools to communicate product intent.
- Translate business processes and enterprise SOPs into documented logic, covering the common cases first and flagging edge cases for senior review.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions with tech leads — asking the right questions, understanding trade-offs, and building platform intuition rather than owning the decision.
- Maintain end-to-end documentation: PRDs, workflow notes, screen flows, and acceptance criteria, kept current as requirements evolve.
- Coordinate sprint planning and backlog grooming — organizing tickets, tracking dependencies, and keeping delivery on schedule alongside engineering.
- Support internal and client-facing demos, learning to explain product workflows to sales, customer success, and implementation teams.
- Track feature requests and surface conflicts or scalability concerns to senior PMs rather than resolving them independently.
- Assist in researching and documenting requirements for AI-powered features.
Requirements
- Mandatory engineering degree.
- Minimum Mandatory 1 year of software engineering experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Ability to write PRDs, define API expectations, and collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, scalability, and performance.
- Comfortable working with complex data models, workflows, business rules, and configurable enterprise systems.
- Ability to create UI mocks, workflow diagrams, and prototypes without depending on a dedicated design team.
- Understanding of modular design, technical debt, platform thinking, configurability, and system extensibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present roadmaps, host demos, align stakeholders, and explain complex planning workflows to both technical and non-technical audiences.
