About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Software Engineer III to join our InComm Engage platform team. This role is ideal for a full-stack engineer with deep expertise in .NET, Angular, Azure, and microservice architecture, who also has a strong interest in mentoring others and driving technical excellence.

As a senior contributor, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges, lead by example in coding standards and design practices, and help shape our platform’s evolution. You’ll also play a key role in integrating AI-powered tools into our development workflows — accelerating delivery, improving code quality, and enhancing team productivity.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building scalable systems, guiding teammates, and embracing modern practices, including AI, DevOps automation, and cloud based development

Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and web applications using .NET and Angular.
• Analyze requirements and user stories to inform technical design decisions.
• Build new APIs and components with a focus on quality, performance, and reusability.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects in your own and others' code.

Collaboration & Communication

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide development estimates and status updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate directly with Product teams and technical leadership.
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and mob programming sessions.

Mentorship & Leadership

• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Take ownership of technical challenges and lead efforts to resolve them.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen events).

Operational Support

• Implement effective logging and monitoring for applications.
• Participate in production deployments and provide post-deployment support.
• Join the Developer On-Call rotation to handle production support escalations.
• Remediate prioritized security vulnerabilities to maintain secure systems.

AI Integration in SDLC

• Lead efforts to evaluate and adopt AI-powered tools across the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor others on effective and responsible use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, test generation, code summarization).
• Integrate AI capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and development environments.
• Help define internal best practices and guardrails for AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
• 5+ years of hands-on .NET software development experience.
• Microsoft certifications in .NET technologies preferred.
