About the Role
Territory Manager – Personal Loan (Partner Business) is responsible for sourcing personal loans through market channels such as DSAs (Direct Selling Agents), DSTs (Direct Sales Teams), Connectors, and existing partners. The role involves building and managing a high-quality loan portfolio while leading a team and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners. The incumbent must ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, balancing sales effectiveness with risk management to contribute to the bank’s broader objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Source personal loan business from market channels including DSAs, DSTs, Connectors, and existing partners.
- Build and maintain a high-quality loan portfolio by minimizing delinquencies and rejections.
- Stay updated on retail asset products, operational processes, and current market trends.
- Identify evolving market dynamics and develop channels to acquire new business.
- Deliver high-quality customer service across all touchpoints.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Recommend process and policy improvements within the Retail Banking function to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Foster collaboration and effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)
Experience
- 3 years of experience in personal loans, specifically in connector/channel business
Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of retail lending products and market practices
- Proven ability to manage and grow channel partnerships
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to lead teams and drive performance
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on quality and compliance
