Job Purpose
State Head – Home Loan and Suvidha LAP, will drive the acquisition and growth of the Home Loan portfolio by sourcing business through the bank’s existing customer base. The role will focus on leveraging internal channels, cross-sell opportunities, and relationship management to meet business targets while ensuring superior customer experience and compliance with internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Business Acquisition
- Generate Home Loan leads and disbursements through the bank’s existing customer base across branches in the assigned area.
- Collaborate with branch banking, relationship managers, and internal teams to identify potential customers.
- Ensure conversion of leads into disbursements as per defined productivity norms.
- Team Management & Training
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Managers and Territory Managers.
- Train and motivate team members and branch staff on product features, sales processes, and customer handling.
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with branch heads, customer relationship officers, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth lead generation and business closures.
- Act as a single point of contact for Home Loan requirements of existing customers in the area.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to bank policies, processes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, and legal teams to expedite approvals and documentation.
- Reporting & MIS
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly business performance.
- Share market feedback and insights with senior management for strategic refinement.
Secondary Responsibilities
'• Strong knowledge of Home Loan/Suvidha products, lending norms, and documentation.
- Ability to identify and convert sales opportunities from existing customer relationships.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Create environment for them to focus on digital enablement to fulfil customer needs holistically
- Excellent relationship management and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with banking systems and customer management platforms
Education
- Graduate Degree: Any stream
- Postgraduate Degree: Any stream (preferred)
- Professional Certifications: Preferred but not mandatory
Experience
- 4–9 years of relevant experience in BFSI sector
- Prior experience in secured/unsecured lending, team management, and internal channel sourcing
- Role Level: Chief Manager / AVP
