About this role

Our partner is looking for an experienced Security Operations Manager to lead and continuously enhance physical security and loss prevention activities across multiple locations in Hungary.


In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing security strategies, managing day-to-day security operations, and ensuring the protection of employees, facilities, assets, and business-critical information. You will lead internal teams, coordinate external security providers, and drive improvements in security infrastructure, technology, and operational processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead physical security and loss prevention programs across multiple sites
  • Develop and implement security strategies aligned with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee access control, surveillance systems, incident management, and site protection measures
  • Manage internal security teams and external security service providers
  • Support investigations, fraud prevention initiatives, and risk mitigation activities
  • Monitor emerging threats and provide security-related recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ensure operational readiness, emergency response capabilities, and business continuity support
  • Drive continuous improvement in security technologies, procedures, and team performance




Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in physical security operations
  • Minimum 3 years of people management experience, ideally in a multi-site environment
  • Strong knowledge of physical security systems, technical protection solutions, and security technologies
  • Experience managing vendors and leading operational security teams
  • Ability to build a high-performing, accountable, and results-driven culture
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Engineering, Criminology, or a related field
  • Native Hungarian and fluent English language skills
