Senior Project Director

The Senior Project Director is responsible for leading ICP's Mexico and US-based Project Management team, building strong client relationships, driving delivery excellence and supporting the successful execution of global content production and localisation programmes.

This is a highly client-facing leadership role that combines project leadership, people management and hands-on delivery responsibility within ICP's global content ecosystem. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to both clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, commercially and to the highest standard.

This is not a traditional shoot production, broadcast production, network production or experiential production role. Whilst those disciplines may occasionally intersect with our work, the majority of ICP's output sits within content adaptation, localisation, versioning, digital content production and multi-market content delivery for global brands.

The role requires an experienced leader who is equally comfortable guiding senior client conversations, coaching project managers, solving delivery challenges and remaining actively involved in key accounts when required.

Based in Mexico City, the role will lead the Mexico-based PM team whilst also supporting project management leadership across our US-based resource. Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as the role involves daily communication with US clients, global stakeholders and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Partnership

• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and escalation point when required.

• Lead challenging client conversations with confidence, balancing client satisfaction with commercial and operational realities.

• Support Project Managers in managing stakeholder expectations, navigating complex delivery challenges and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Represent ICP Content Studios in client meetings, QBRs, RFPs, RFIs and pitch presentations.

• Partner closely with Client Partners and the Global Head of Content Studios to support client growth opportunities and long-term account success.

Project Leadership & Delivery Excellence

• Lead the successful delivery of complex multi-market content programmes across localisation, adaptation and content production workflows.

• Ensure projects are planned, scoped, resourced and executed efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

• Drive consistency in project management standards, workflows, documentation and delivery practices.

• Oversee onboarding and implementation of new client accounts, helping establish effective operating models and delivery processes.

• Remain actively involved in live delivery, supporting key accounts and stepping into projects when required.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, inspire and develop the Mexico and US-based Project Management team.

• Ensure team are delivering to ICP standards for project leadership, client communication and delivery excellence.

• Coach team members on stakeholder management, commercial awareness, planning discipline and escalation management.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, development planning and performance management across the team.

• Foster a collaborative, accountable and supportive team culture aligned to ICP values and global standards.

Commercial & Financial Management

• Ensure strong financial discipline across projects, including estimates, reconciliations, project profitability and scope management.

• Partner with Finance, Client Partners, Global Head of Content Studio and Project Managers to protect margin and identify opportunities for growth.

• Support rate card discussions, proposals, statements of work and new business opportunities.

• Help ensure projects are delivered in a commercially responsible manner whilst maintaining strong client relationships.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve delivery quality, workflow efficiency and team effectiveness.

• Champion best practice across project management, client service and content delivery.

• Support the adoption of new tools, technologies and AI-enabled ways of working where they enhance delivery outcomes.

• Share knowledge and contribute to the continued evolution of ICP's global delivery model.

Experience & Skills

Essential

• Significant experience in Project Management, Programme Management, Content Production, Creative Operations or Localisation environments.

• Proven experience leading project management or delivery teams.

• Strong client-facing experience with the confidence to manage senior stakeholders and complex conversations.

• Experience delivering large-scale, multi-market content programmes for global brands.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets, estimates and project profitability.

• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery involvement.

Highly Desirable

• Experience within localisation, adaptation, content operations or high-volume content delivery environments.

• Experience working within organisations that support global content ecosystems and multi-market production programmes.

• Experience contributing to RFPs, proposals and new business initiatives.

• Exposure to modern workflow platforms, Ai & automation tools and AI-enabled delivery processes.
