Business Development and Enterprise Coverage, Private Banks and Wirehouses - Vice President
About this role
iCapital is looking to hire a Vice President to join the team developing iCapital’s enterprise presence across the US wealth management industry. This team develops and manages relationships with iCapital’s largest clients. This individual will prospect new clients, maintain ongoing relationships with current clients, and provide support to the internal iCapital Solutions team members. This role will be focused on business development and relationship management support for iCapital’s full suite of technology and investment solutions and involves working closely with teams across the firm. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, crafting pitch decks, leading platform demonstrations, and collaborating with other relationship managers.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and existing relationships with wealth manager clients and support other relationship managers.
- Support the team on various tasks for several strategic wealth manager clients.
- Lead platform and system demonstrations for new prospects, respond to RFPs, and work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams on fund launches, closes, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with other Relationship Managers, Sales teams, and Senior Executives across the company to drive tactical and strategic initiatives regarding sales strategy and business development, CRM technology, and marketing.
- Manage and lead internal projects and develop frameworks and processes for ongoing team management.
- Develop presentations with significant data and analysis for internal meetings and projects.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a business development or relationship management related role
- 6+ years of experience working within financial services or financial technology industry
- Knowledge and experience with Alternative Investments
- Direct experience working for or with wealth management firms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic mindset and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated client service skills with stakeholders and clients
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $145,000 to $175,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
