About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire an Assistant Vice President Account Executive who will work on the front lines of iCapital’s growth. As a foundational member of the Sales team, this individual will be responsible for turning qualified opportunities into the new customers that fuel our expansion. This role is central to how the firm grows and is an opportunity for an ambitious seller to build their career on a team designed for a new era of scale. This role will report to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for managing relationships with alternative asset managers with total firm.
Responsibilities
- Run a full-cycle sales process to turn qualified opportunities into new Passthrough, now a part of iCapital, customers.
- Consistently meet or exceed your annual revenue quota of $1.75M.
- Become an expert on the private funds landscape and the challenges our clients face, and effectively articulate our value proposition to key stakeholders such as GPs, Fund Admins, COOs, and Investor Relations.
- Maintain a disciplined and value-oriented sales process to achieve a high close rate on qualified opportunities.
- Keep meticulous records of all activities in the CRM to ensure predictable and accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with Marketing Development and Customer Success to provide a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle B2B closing experience, preferably in a SaaS or FinTech environment
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding an annual quota of $1M+
- Experience or a strong desire to work within a structured sales process (i.e. using methodologies like BANT or MEDDIC)
- A strategic and execution-oriented mindset, with a track record of translating ideas into scalable business solutions
- Data-driven, process-oriented, and able to view metrics and the CRM as essential tools for success
- Values clarity, accountability, and a collaborative, results-oriented culture
- Balances speed and quality, prioritizing timely feedback and continuous improvement
- Experience selling to fund managers, legal counsel, or fund administrators
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary and equity for all full-time employees. This role will include a commission-based bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
