About this role
This position will work with the Department Chair and Administrative Assistant on all aspects of recruiting students to ENVS. This includes participating in all in-person recruitment events (Open House and Experience Ithaca, Majors & Minors Fair, etc.), hosting prospective students that want a personalized tour or to sit in on a class, speaking to interested prospective students on the phone, leading the postcard, sticker and other outreach efforts, and carrying out other tasks as needed. 4-6 hours per week.
Qualifications: At least one year as an ENVS major. Strong interpersonal skills and an enjoyment of talking with prospective students and family members. Willingness and ability to commit to the time requirements of the events (or to find a substitute). Leadership experience or potential. Seeking a highly responsible, self-motivated and creative individual with excellent time management abilities.
