Job Overview
Are you passionate about youth sports and making a positive impact in your community? We’re seeking high-energy and motivated Youth Sports Coordinators who are responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. In this role, you aren't just an instructor; you are the leader of the field. You will oversee each session, coordinate and mentor our Parent Volunteer Coaches, and ensure a dynamic, positive, and high-energy experience is delivered to all players. The position entails hands-on impact on practices and games among all age groups (3-14) and skill levels.

This position is based in the Hayward / San Leandro Area, California.

We have one Sports Coordinator per sport, so please specify which sport(s) you are interested in (Soccer, Flag Football, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball).

Duties
  • Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
  • Teach & demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values
  • Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
  • Act as the main point of contact on the field, consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and superior customer service skills with parents, participants, and staff.
Position Type: Part-Time W-2 Employee (usually on Saturdays)

Requirements
  • Enjoy working with kids
  • Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
  • Clean Background Check
  • Reliable transportation to and from games and training
  • Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
  • Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety and enjoyment of players
  • Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on the weekends (this role is primarily focused on Saturdays)
