Regional Details
Our programs rotate seasonally to use the best facilities in the area. This position covers our North Cluster, including:
- Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario, Chino Hills, Eastvale, and Jurupa Valley.
- Assignment locations vary by season. Reliable transportation to all cities in this cluster is required.
- Develop and deliver tennis lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Teach fundamental tennis techniques, strategies, and rules while promoting sportsmanship and fair play
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and enjoyment
- Organize and lead structured practice sessions, drills, and interactive games to enhance skill development
- Provide constructive feedback and individualized coaching to help players improve their technique and performance
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions
- Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate with parents/guardians regarding program updates and player progress
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate schedules and optimize program effectiveness
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or coaching tennis to youth
- Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young players
- Enthusiasm for working with children and a passion for promoting their physical and personal development
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual, with the ability to effectively manage a group of young athletes
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on program needs
- USPTA or PTR certification
- Experience playing competitive tennis at the high school, college, or professional level
- Experience organizing and conducting tennis camps or workshops
