About HyLight:

HyLight’s mission is to help society become more resilient to climate change by improving the observation and inspection of infrastructure. HyLight designs and operates next-generation airships for aerial inspections. Our aircraft collect LiDAR, imagery, and methane data to help utilities and infrastructure operators inspect their networks more efficiently and sustainably.

Our activities include:

  • Detecting methane leaks from gas infrastructures (4% of global GHG emissions)

  • Inspecting power lines to prevent outages and wildfires

By 2030, we aim to become the global leader in aerial monitoring.

Job Summary:

As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you’ll support HyLight’s hiring efforts during an exciting phase of growth. Working closely with our People team and hiring managers, you’ll help attract exceptional talent while ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience from application to onboarding.

This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in startup recruiting, employer branding, and talent operations while contributing to the growth of a fast-scaling climate tech company.

Your Mission

  • Support the coordination of interviews across multiple teams and calendars.

  • Be a key point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

  • Publish and maintain job postings across recruiting platforms.

  • Keep our applicant tracking system (ATS) organized and up to date.

  • Help source promising candidates through LinkedIn and other talent channels.

  • Screen applications and support initial candidate outreach.

  • Assist hiring managers with interview logistics and collecting structured feedback.

  • Support onboarding preparation for new team members.

  • Help track recruitment metrics and identify opportunities to improve our hiring processes.

  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives, campus recruitment, and recruiting events when relevant.

Who We're Looking For

You are...

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Looking for a 3–6 month internship starting in September.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Comfortable communicating with candidates and internal stakeholders.

  • Passionate about people, recruitment, and building great teams.

  • Fluent in both English and French (professional proficiency).

Nice to Have

  • Previous internship or student experience in HR, recruitment, people operations, or administration.

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, or modern collaboration tools.

  • Interest in startups, climate tech, aerospace, or deep tech.

  • Experience with student associations, campus events, or employer branding initiatives.
