About this role
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities within target industries, including:
- Oil & Gas
- Aerospace
- Defense
- Industrial Automation
- Medical Devices
- Power & Energy
- Identify potential OEM customers via networking, referrals, cold calls, email campaigns, trade shows, and industry events.
- Build and maintain relationships with engineering, supply chain, operations, and executive decision-makers.
- Assess customer opportunities and collaborate with internal estimating and engineering teams to coordinate RFQs.
- Showcase current manufacturing capabilities and value propositions to potential clients.
- Oversee the sales pipeline from initial lead generation to contract finalization and onward into production.
- Achieve or surpass sales and gross margin goals.
- Participate in trade shows, visit customers, and attend industry networking events.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, program management, quality, and operations to guarantee a smooth onboarding process for customers.
- Develop, update, and maintain written progress reports and plans for acquiring new and potential clients.
- Arrange and execute a follow-up meeting with the client to assess customer satisfaction.
- Keep fiscal and personnel data confidential.
- Address and resolve customer complaints related to services, products, or staff.
