CNC Operation & Programmer

Job Title: CNC Operation & Programmer 

Reporting to: Manufacturing Manager

Nature of the Position: Full Time

 

Role Overview:

The job holder is responsible for operating and programming computer-programmed machinery that perform a wide variety of functions, such as drilling, cutting, or shaping materials. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. 1. To make the program, set and operate CNC Machine tools for each component.
   2. Responsible to Correctly book all working hours on/off the time booking system
   3. Responsible for Adhere Hunting QMS & HSE system procedures, work instructions.
   4. Responsible for Adhering to the Quality & HSE Policy.
   5. To recommend the needs of fixtures and tools for increasing efficiency in machining of each component.
   6. Responsible for making optimum use of tools/inserts and fixtures for maximum productivity.
   7. Provide all required tooling information and reduce cycling time for all programs.
   8. Manufacture components accurately to relevant Engineering drawings and specifications.
   9. Report any non-conforming components to supervisors and QC Department.
   10. Authorized to use suitable tools and cutters based on the machines
   11. Authorized to perform Daily preventive maintenance of machine as per the prescribed instructions. Ensure the care of all machinery, tooling and equipment used.
   12. Authorized to modify machining parameters and CNC Program
   13. Authorized to stop the process if any deviations/concerns about product quality and HSE
   14. Accountable for maintaining dimensions as per the drawing
   15. Accountable to Keep the machine area and work area clean and tidy.

Additional Responsibilities,

1. Promoting Hunting Health, Safety and Environmental policies, and communicate effective awareness of the risks and hazards to all personnel and maintain controls necessary for their safety and that of others.
2. Performing all duties in accordance with the Company’s Quality Procedures and work Instructions in order to deliver and maintain the highest standards of quality for all products and services.
3. Developing self within role and participate in and develop from training and developmental activities assigned to oneself.
4. Understanding Hunting’s service and product offerings
5. Establishing self as a subject matter expert with customer and expert in designated technical/professional discipline
6. Creating and maintaining good working relationships
7. Understanding and using of the correct reporting lines
8. Employees are expected to work whatever reasonable hours are necessary to meet the requirements of their job.
9. Travel may be required on an ad hoc basis, so a degree of flexibility is required.
10. Ad hoc duties as reasonably required from time to time.

4. Completing allocated jobs on time, i.e. reducing NCR’s, meeting production targets, are completed in a safe manner and to required quality standards

 Qualifications/Skills and Experience:

• Relevant certificate or diploma of industrial training or technical education
• Full Saudi Driving License is desirable 
• At least 4 years of experience in similar role is desirable 
• Extensive Ability and knowledge of operating CNC milling/lathe and various hand tools such as grinders, etc.
• General understanding and skills of CNC machines components is desirable.
• Must be able to use and read Micrometers and various other measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
