Global Inventory & Warehouse Manager

London · On-site

About this role

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Global Inventory & Warehouse Manager to join our team based in London, UK.

What You'll Do

We are hiring a Global Inventory & Warehouse Manager to lead Humanoid’s global inventory governance, warehouse operations strategy, and material readiness across all sites. This role is responsible for establishing global standards, ensuring stock accuracy, and enabling efficient material flow to support prototype builds, engineering trials, and production rampup.

You will partner closely with regional warehouse, inventory, planning, and logistics teams in London, Boston, and Vancouver, ensuring consistent execution and operational excellence across the WILP pillar.

This is a critical leadership role in building a world-class supply chain foundation for a scaling robotics company.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Humanoid’s global inventory and warehouse strategy, covering stock accuracy, storage optimisation, and material flow.

  • Establish global standards, SOPs, KPIs, and governance frameworks for warehouse operations and inventory control.

  • Define global policies for cycle counting, stock reconciliation, material traceability, and inventory health.

  • Lead the design and optimisation of warehouse layouts, storage systems, and material handling processes.

  • Drive global alignment across regional sites to ensure consistent execution and compliance.

  • Support the development of scalable warehouse and inventory capabilities for future production volumes.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Maintain global visibility of inventory accuracy, stock levels, ageing, and material readiness.

  • Oversee global cycle counting governance and ensure timely closure of discrepancies.

  • Support regional teams in resolving inventory variances, material shortages, and warehouse bottlenecks.

  • Ensure accurate SAP (S/4HANA) inventory transactions, including goods receipts, transfers, adjustments, and reservations.

  • Govern material flow processes for prototype builds, engineering trials, and production rampup.

  • Partner with Planning to ensure inventory availability aligns with build schedules.

  • Collaborate with Logistics to ensure smooth inbound material flow and timely putaway.

  • Support warehouse operations during urgent, timecritical events when escalation is required.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Build and scale Humanoid’s global warehouse and inventory capability as the organisation grows.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small but expanding team within the WILP pillar.

  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned to global standards.

  • Foster a highperformance, safetyfocused, and continuousimprovement culture.

  • Act as a senior escalation point for regional warehouse and inventory teams.

  • Deputise for the Senior Manager – WILP when required.

  • Proven experience managing inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, and material flow across multiple sites.

  • Experience working across KSA, North America, and Europe (highly desirable).

  • Strong understanding of inventory control, stock reconciliation, traceability, and warehouse optimisation.

  • Experience in fast-paced, engineering-driven environments or high growth startups.

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, HND or related field.

  • APICS CPIM (Certified in Planning & Inventory Management).

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.

  • IOSH / NEBOSH.

  • Experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred).

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and planning capabilities.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and database management.

  • Strong understanding of SAP IM/WM/EWM processes.

  • Deep knowledge of cycle counting, stock accuracy frameworks, and warehouse KPIs.

  • Ability to interpret engineering requirements and translate them into material handling and storage solutions.

  • Familiarity with inventory visibility tools, material flow constraints, and planning dependencies.

  • Strong capability in data analysis, forecasting, and KPI development.

Behavioural Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across global teams.

  • Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Strong problem solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset when required.

  • Professional, motivated, and able to operate autonomously with minimal oversight.

  • Able to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.

What We Offer

  • Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.

  • 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).

  • Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.

  • Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.

  • Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.

  • Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.

  • Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

Company at a glance

In a world where artificial intelligence opens up new horizons, our faith in its potential unveils a new outlook where, together, humans and machines build a new future filled with knowledge, inspiration, and incredible discoveries.

The development of a functional humanoid robot underpins an era of abundance and well-being where poverty will disappear, and people will be able to choose what they want to do.

We can imagine millions of bipedal robots doing more work than all human labour does today freeing people from the servitude of some repetitive and boring tasks that nobody likes to perform.

We believe that we have enough abundance to take care of everyone who is displaced. Eventually, providing a universal basic income will lead to the true evolution of our civilization.

Labor shortages loom, as the demands on our built environment rise. With the world’s workforce increasingly moving away from undesirable tasks, the manufacturing, construction, and logistics industries critical to our daily lives are left exposed.

By deploying our general-purpose humanoid robots in environments deemed hazardous or monotonous, we envision a future where human well-being is safeguarded while closing the gaps in critical global labour needs.
