Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of the operation’s L&TD plan based on well-defined local learning needs and HSH global learning strategy
- Support the coordination and facilitation of the orientation programme and ensure completion of global and local compliance programmes
- Coordinate and facilitate training, with an emphasis on delivering guest and culture driven initiatives which are aligned to the HSH Core Principles and the Peninsula Service Principles
- Support a robust departmental training culture through coordinating departmental trainers’ meeting and working with departmental trainers on effective departmental training plans
- Support the coordination of training and development initiatives such as cross training and exposure, Emerging Manager programme, Management Trainee programmes, or any external training
- Monitor and update the learning and development plan in coordination with the L&TD team and/or Department Heads
- Support the administration of the Learning Management System to ensure all information is accurate, and training is actioned and followed up in a timely manner. Promote the usage of Learning Key through showcasing content in creative ways
- Act as a driver in the administrative elements of L&TD function, including overseeing course enrolments or cancellations, communicating with colleagues and managers to inform of courses and initiatives, and celebrating successful completion of programmes and initiatives
Requirements
- Strong organisation and planning skills with ability to collaborate across department
- Clear communication and relationship building skills
- Fluency in both English and Japanese (JLPT N1 or close to native level)
