🔥 Shift Leader – Hot Chi (Downtown Locations; OPO & SFH) 🔥
Shifts: 6–8 hours
Pay:$17.50 – $19.50/hr (based on experience)
Hot Chi is more than hot chicken—we’re a movement rooted in soul, swagger, and serious food. As a Shift Leader, you’ll be the quarterback of the shift, making sure everything runs smooth, safe, and up to Hot Chi standards.

🚀 What You'll Be Responsible For
LEAD RESTAURANT OPERATIONS
Follow and complete opening/closing checklists
Monitor food safety standards and walk-in cooler organization
Operate and troubleshoot kitchen equipment
Adjust staffing in real-time to match business needs
Send daily shift summaries to management
ACCOUNTABILITY
Enforce policies around uniforms, punctuality, attendance, phone use
Ensure all team members follow our Quality Identifier standards
Coach team with respect and firmness
CUSTOMER RECOVERY
Handle guest issues like a Hot Chi pro
Use the D.O.E. Method** to resolve problems
Issue refunds or credits as needed to win customers back
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Receive and stow away deliveries
Create and oversee prep lists
Complete full inventory counts as scheduled
Communicate expected shortages to management
Scan and upload order invoices.
KITCHEN PREP
Master every item in the Hot Chi recipe book
Lead prep for all bulk kitchen items
Oversee the execution and quality of prep lists

Solid communication and organization skills
Comfort with toast POS system
Cool under pressure, focused on solutions

Travel between 1-2 of our locations in downtown(15min walk)
