Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic Vice President of Product Marketing to lead Horizon's go to market strategy and execution during a period of transformative growth and innovation. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for Horizon's portfolio of technology products and data offerings, crafting compelling narratives that position our solutions in the marketplace, and driving business growth through effective product marketing and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will combine deep product marketing expertise with strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market frameworks that drive adoption, growth, differentiation and market leadership.
  • Translate capabilities into compelling narratives that simplify complexity and empower marketers.
  • Build and execute plans to establish Horizon's thought leadership in priority domains such as AI, marketing technology, data solutions, and beyond.

Product Management Leadership

  • Support product pricing, packaging, naming and positioning strategies.
  • Drive impactful roadmap communications both internally and externally.
  • Establish product marketing best practices, processes, and methodologies.

Market Strategy & Growth

  • Lead market intelligence and competitive analysis efforts to inform product strategy and positioning.
  • Create frameworks for measuring and optimizing go to market effectiveness.
  • Support sales teams with tailored narratives for high-stakes pitches and RFIs.

Cross Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Product Management, Program Management, and client facing stakeholders to ensure alignment between product strategy and go-to-market execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
  • Partner with enablement teams to support product adoption and evangelism.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in product marketing roles, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of leading go-to-market initiatives; experience in technology companies a plus.
  • A player coach who equally thrives developing strategies and getting things done.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Experience MarTech, data and/or AI-driven solutions to sophisticated enterprise buyers.
  • Track record of building, scaling, and managing teams.
  • Strong people leadership and talent development capabilities
  • Ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders around common objectives.
  • Working understanding of enterprise MarTech, data platforms, and emerging AI/ML technologies.
  • Strong grasp of media and advertising industry dynamics and buyer behavior.
  • Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions.
  • Experience with modern marketing technologies and methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree required; ongoing professional development in product marketing and technology encouraged.

Salary Range

$170,000.00 - $200,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
