About this role
- Education: University Degree: University Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ing. Electromechanics or other engineering.
- Experience: Minimum experience of 5 years as a professional in the technical field and in positions of similar nature or 4 years of experience in the Medical Industry.
- Specialized Knowledge (Desirable): Knowledge of Project Management Standard Project PMBok
- Management Institute, Knowledge of the Project Project Portfolio Management Standard
- Management Institute, Knowledge on ProChain and Scrum Methodology.

Languages required for the position (Desirable): Advanced English
- Computer tools and knowledge level required (Desirable): Microsoft Office: Advanced Level
- Other Tools: Expertise in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, Critical Chain
- Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the Project Management process across the organization on high complexity and high impact projects. Develop a robust and detailed planning and control process to assure the on time/on scope/on budget implementation of the project.
- Develop, implement and facilitate the use of program managment tools and best practices of professional project management to support the efficiency of the project portfolio for the division.
- Facilitate the management of key information records that facilitate decision-making based on data.
- Design, implement and standardize project management documents as related to all areas of project management knowledge for the division.
- Support management of the project portfolio of the plant through the implementation of best practices so that the execution of projects and use of resources is aligned with the strategic objectives for the division.
- Support the Divisional NPI program managers where needed to insure project are executed to targets working with local managers as needed.
- Support documentary record of key project information, regarding charter, scope, schedule of activities, budget, change orders per divisional PMO standards.
- Develop and implement templates and procedures that serve to improve the Project Management for the PMO.
- Facilitate/mentor the training of project leaders and members of project teams, in skills that correspond to project management, necessary for the proper execution of projects
- Serve as a guide and consult (mentoring) for project leaders regarding the use of tools and presentation of status and aids.
- Document and implement changes based on lessons learned from projects and portfolio. Implement and manage the documentation system and incorporate lessons learned from projects.
- Maintain and encourage teamwork and good relations with counterparts in the Division and all sites where products are manufactured.
- Mentor other Project Engineers (P1 and P2) within the Hologic CR organization.
