Senior Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney

Hoge Fenton is seeking a Senior Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney to join our Trust & Estate Litigation group. This role targets a seasoned practitioner with extensive trusts and estates litigation experience and a partial book of portable business who can advise clients on a broad spectrum of issues. The position offers flexibility in location across our Silicon Valley, Tri-Valley, or Peninsula offices with travel between locations as needed to serve clients.
What youll do
- Represent senior citizens and their families in financial elder abuse litigation.
- Represent trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries in trust and probate litigation, including capacity, undue influence, fraud, accounting, co-trustee disputes, removals, surcharge actions, and breaches of fiduciary duty.
- Supervise and mentor associates.
What Hoge Fenton is looking for
- Minimum of eight years of experience in Trust & Estate litigation.
- Active membership in the State Bar of California.
- Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm and/or respectable midsize or regional firm.
- Desire to build a practice in the South Bay or East Bay.
- Ability to bring a partial book of portable business.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
