Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and positive working environment
Sets stops on machine bed, changes dies, and adjusts components.
Operates stretch press according to specifications.
Selects and positions flat, block, radius, or special purpose die sets into ram and bed of machine, using hoist, crane, measuring instruments, and hand tools.
Installs, aligns, and secures gears, holding fixtures, dies to machine bed, using gauges, and/or templates, and hand tools.
Inspects workpiece for defects.
Lifts, positions, and secures workpiece between dies of machine using crane.
Lubricates stretch press.

QualificationsNonessential Duties and Responsibilities:

Previous manufacturing, machine operation, fabrication, or aerospace experience.
Previous experience operating a stretch press or similar forming equipment.
Experience working with aluminum sheet metal or other aerospace materials.
Aerospace manufacturing experience.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality practices.
Previous experience working from aerospace specifications or customer requirements.

Ability to read and understand work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications in English.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and accurately interpret measurements.
Ability to use basic measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Ability to safely operate machinery and hand tools.
Ability to recognize defects, dimensional issues, and other quality concerns.
Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
Ability to follow established safety procedures, work instructions, and production schedules.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift.
Ability to lift and move materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and noise.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
