Overview

The Account Coordinator will ensure response and resolution of numerous customer issues to achieve the highest level of satisfaction and product understanding for HireRight's largest clients. The role requires interaction with various customer contacts to facilitate problem resolution and escalate issues to appropriate personnel within HireRight. The Account Coordinator works with the HireRight Team to proactively monitor issues and improve HireRight product/service delivery prior to customer impact.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to client-specific inquiries and issues
  • Monitor all inbound Customer Support (CS) inquiries, both domestic and international where applicable
  • Track and follow up on issues raised with Product/Development teams to ensure resolution within committed timelines
  • Oversee invoice-related updates and resolve any discrepancies
  • Monitor domestic and international background screening cases, expediting delays where necessary
  • Ensure background reports are processed in accordance with established operational guidelines
  • Update reports promptly with any additional information or documentation received from clients or applicants, ensuring accurate and detailed notes
  • Act as a liaison between HireRight and clients to address and resolve issues effectively
  • Track and analyze product performance by capturing and reviewing issue data
  • Proactively identify and report trends to Account Management and Operations teams
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
  • Identify and support upselling opportunities to drive additional revenue
  • Participate in business reviews and client meetings (travel up to 5%, may be required)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 1 – 3 years Client Service, Customer Service or Account Management
  • Knowledge of background screening processes is preferred
  • Basic understanding of regulatory frameworks such as FCRA and GDPR
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong delegation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to support Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders

Knowledge and Skill :

  • Strong commitment to delivering prompt, reliable, and high-quality customer service
  • Ability to apply standard procedures and follow established processes effectively
  • Solid understanding of operational workflows gained through training and experience
  • Capable of handling routine to moderately complex issues independently, with occasional guidance
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently to investigate issues and deliver accurate, timely solutions
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills, with exposure to technical processes considered a plus
