Centerpoint Health – Versailles, formerly Bluegrass Community Hospital, is located in the heart of horse country. Our 25 bed facility proudly serves Woodford and Anderson Counties in Central Kentucky. Licensed as a critical access hospital, we offer a broad range of inpatient, surgical, emergency, and diagnostic services.
How you'll contribute
A Paramedic who excels in this role:
Provide emergency medical care: Assess patients, perform life-saving interventions (CPR, airway management, defibrillation), and stabilize conditions. Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR)
Administer medications and treatments: Deliver IV fluids, medications, and advanced procedures according to protocols. Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
Assess and monitor patients: Evaluate vital signs, symptoms, and medical history to guide treatment decisions.
Transport patients safely: Ensure proper care and monitoring while transporting patients to medical facilities.
Communicate and document care: Relay patient information to hospital staff and complete accurate reports of incidents and treatments.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a Graduate of an approved EMT Paramedic program. Additional requirements include:
Paramedic license
Current Licensure by the State of KY as an EMT- Paramedic
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Handle with Care withing 7 days of hire
