Summary


Under general supervision, the Sr. Specialist, Regional Development supports the organization’s operational and leadership excellence by delivering transformative learning and development programs across the entire region. The incumbent will design, implement, and maintain initiatives such as onboarding, leadership development, sales coaching, and continuous skill development to cultivate a high-performing, customer-focused retail workforce. These efforts not only elevate performance but also reinforce our brand’s unique identity, cultivate a strong, culture-driven environment, and empower emerging leaders—strengthening brand distinction and driving measurable business impact.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, execute, and sustain development programs tailored to regional needs in areas like product knowledge, leadership development, sales effectiveness, and customer service, using methods that appeal to all learning styles.

  • Create relatable, brand-driven learning materials such as microlearnings, quickreference guides, and scenariobased modules that not only connect with frontline teams but also reflect our unique culture, inspire highperformance behaviors, and reinforce leadership expectations.

  • Travel extensively throughout the region to deliver training sessions and assess training effectiveness on-site.

  • Collaborate with regional leadership, HR, operations, and merchandising to identify skill gaps, align training with business objectives, and support new product deployments.

  • Monitor and analyze training metrics like completion rates, sales performance, and customer satisfaction and iterate on learning content to drive continuous improvement.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role does not carry supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact and influence at all levels.

  • 7 years of retail experience with at least 3 years in a training or leadership role.

  • Knowledge of learning theories, talent strategies, and continuous performance management models.

  • Proficiency in creating training materials and content, with knowledge of LMS platforms, video tools, and adult learning principles

  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

  • Adaptable and resilient with strong influencing skills.

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills across both in-person and virtual settings.

  • Proven ability to build credibility and trust.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

The travel requirements for this role are at least 80%.
