We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team!Work the register in the hospital cafeteria and provide excellent service to all guests. Maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure that food is presented properly and the cafe is ready for service in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Cashier
- Wage: $16/hour
- Full-time position available
- Day/Evening/Night shifts available
- Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
- Location: Mercy Hospital Ada
Responsibilities
- Cater to all customer needs and treat every customer with respect, friendliness, and a smile
- Balance the cash drawer and discuss discrepancies with management
- Stock and monitor supply levels of condiments, utensils, and grab-and-go items
- Monitor temperatures for the tray line and maintain temperature logs
- Keep the cafeteria clean and organized at all times, including emptying trash cans
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean to maintain floor and high-traffic areas
- Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
- Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
