MAKE AN IMPACT THAT MATTERS 

We're seeking an accomplished Senior Manager to join our Angus Connect team and lead a high-performing group of engineers, designers, and project managers delivering complex Information, Communication, Automation Technology (ICAT) solutions across sectors including data centres, healthcare, commercial, and mission-critical facilities. In this leadership role, you'll drive the successful delivery of communications, security, audiovisual, and intelligent building systems while developing your team, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the practice. 

You'll provide strategic oversight across multiple ICAT projects, ensuring teams are effectively resourced, projects are delivered on schedule and within budget, and technology solutions align with client objectives and industry best practices. As a trusted advisor, you'll lead client relationships, develop proposals, support business development, and provide senior technical guidance on complex technology infrastructure, low-voltage systems, and integrated building technologies.

Beyond project delivery, you'll mentor and develop technical staff, help advance Angus Connect's design standards and service offerings, and support the operational leadership of the Toronto office. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who combines deep ICAT expertise with proven people leadership, business acumen, and a passion for delivering innovative, future-ready technology environments.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Leads, manages, and mentors a team of 4 to 6 engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver projects on a timely basis.
  • Develops policy and implements strategy for short-term results (1 year or less).
  • Primarily responsible for managing, retaining, and developing staff members.
  • Identifies and staffs projects either directly or through Project Managers.
  • Acts as a primary relationship manager for a select group of clients.
  • Monitors status of projects through Project Managers.
  • Engages in performance management cycle for direct reports.
  • Responsible for project billings of team.
  • Responsible for financial performance of the projects that they invoice for.
  • Develops proposals and pricing.
  • Achieves financial/operational targets aligned with divisional results.
  • Supporting the operational management of the Toronto office.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Must have a P.Eng preferably in Electrical Engineering or comparable field.
  • 10+ years of Consulting Engineering experience.
  • Must have experience in managing staff members and Projects.
  • Experience with ICAT projects in a variety of market sectors.
  • Ability to travel is required.

TOTAL REWARDS 

The expected salary for this role is between $125,000 to $165,000 annually. Base salaries are determined considering several factors such as skills and competencies, experience, education, and internal and external competitiveness. Along with your base salary, we offer a wide array of programs, including our Short-Term Incentive bonus program, technical and business training, mentoring, wellness initiatives, flexible work arrangements, and a hybrid work structure.
