Production Manager

Purpose of the Job

HH Global is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of retail display and fixture programs across China. The role requires strong project management capability, technical understanding of fixture production, and hands-on coordination with factories, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality, cost, and timeline objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of retail display and fixture projects, including prototypes, sampling, production, and delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, sourcing, account management) to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and executed.
• Track and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

• Work closely with factories and vendors to ensure production meets HH Global standards for quality, cost, and timelines.
• Conduct regular factory visits for:
• Prototype review and approval
• Mass production monitoring and troubleshooting
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and agents.

• Review and interpret CAD drawings and 3D models for retail fixtures and displays.
• Provide feedback to improve manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams during prototype development.

• Oversee prototype development and validate samples before mass production.
• Arrange and coordinate QC inspections (in-line and final inspections).
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented when quality issues arise.

• Handle production orders and ensure proper documentation flow.
• Coordinate with factories on all invoice processes, including:
• Purchase orders
• Invoices
• Payment follow-ups
• Monitor project costs and support budgeting and cost control initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail display and fixture production.
• Strong background working with trading companies, sourcing agents, or production vendors is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of retail fixture manufacturing processes, including:
• Metal fabrication
• Woodwork
• Acrylic and plastic components
• Knowledge of injection moulding plastic production is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and review 3D models.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality control mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Frequently traveling to factories within China.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
• Experience in international retail or global brand environments.
• Familiarity with sustainability and material compliance standards.
• Background in engineering or manufacturing-related fields.
• University graduate
• English level: Level 4 or above
