JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for printing, packing, and shipping customer orders. Verifies product information on location labels and customer
packing list to maintain high accuracy. Responsible for the receipt and processing of inbound and outbound freight, including loading and
unloading shipments from trucks, properly identifying merchandise to appropriate paperwork.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
●Verifies product and pick information for all customer orders to maintain high accuracy, entering all serial numbers for high tech
items accurately
●Ensures that all customer orders are received by customers within the same amount of time and processes shipping upgrades
as necessary, always verifies shipping labels for accuracy.
●Packs customer orders after selected from primary product locations. Selects appropriate sized boxes or envelopes for
shipment to avoid bending, crushing, or shifting of items during delivery.
●Packs all orders neatly and correctly in box to ensure quality, meeting department expectations for glasses, plastics, liquids,
etc.

Manifests packages for shipment manually and places items onto conveyor system or in hampers to load onto trucks for
shipment.
● Loads and unloads merchandise from trucks using both manual and power equipment, including forklifts and pallet lifts.
Verifies paperwork regarding accuracy of unit counts as well as proper destination. Visually identify any damaged freight and
reports appropriately in a timely manner and ensures the correct amount of product is received and signed for.
● Disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain safe and lean working conditions

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 1 or more years of related experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
