Finance Manager – Riyadh
About this role

What you´ll do
- Lead KSA general accounting activities, including GL, journal entries, accruals, provisions, balance-sheet reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing in compliance with IFRS, local requirements, and Henkel accounting policies.
- Own and coordinate Saudi tax matters, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and other applicable tax requirements, ensuring accurate and timely filings and payments.
- Act as a key Finance contact for ZATCA, coordinating tax queries, assessments, audits, supporting documentation, and responses to authorities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies, tax exposures, and compliance risks, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation measures.
- Support internal and external audits and collaborate with regional/global Finance and Tax teams, business stakeholders, and Big Four/external tax advisors when required.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of Finance processes, with a focus on strengthening SAP/ERP workflows, accounting efficiency, and financial governance
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Approximately 5-7 years of progressive Finance experience, with strong exposure to General Accounting and Tax.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles. - Strong hands-on knowledge of Saudi Arabian taxation and ZATCA requirements, particularly VAT and withholding tax.
Previous experience managing or supporting tax audits, assessments, and interactions with tax authorities. - Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and closing processes.
- Experience working with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
- Experience within a multinational, manufacturing, or FMCG environment is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across local, regional, and global Finance organizations.
- Fluency in English
